Winter is here...finally. Though still lite and young, it has a crisp feeling of semi-perminence. That sweet chuckle of plastic teeth racing across eachother at opposing angles has finally begun to sing it's sweet song...and nothing makes me happier. The last month has been as tame as it was wild, Having halloween, ghostland observatory and the arrival of winter, coupled with 17 credits and work...i take that back, tame in no way discribes the last month.
turned in my last paper for the semester last friday, registered for the right classes last monday, and it's all on track to graduate May 10'...
Shred Club has been slow moving, excuses...i have none. The president did get an effective zine out early on, now that the snow is here, hopefully things will get rollin'.
Hiked to Summit Lake and up saturday, a beautifully cloudy day. Feels so good again.
went to a sweet lecture, recommended by a brilliant friend...given by Dahr Jamail on "The Will to Resist".
leaving to NYC next week, visiting mi hermanita, and escorting my niece on her first adventure to the city. wooow, there goes my attention span, until later.

Trampoline Queen..
Life has been off the hook and rollin' fast. I haven't had much time to scrape together some digital pleasure for your viewing enjoyment, BUT my lovely lady friend Carly has finally established her portfolio-lio on-line, which you can access Here. She has been logging our lives away via this soul-stealing contraption many fondly call a camera for months. SHred Club hosted it's first(of many) Shred premieres last week, Forum's FOREVER premiered in AK at our very own UAA campus, and was followed by a ridiculous after party. Our favorite Forum Rep. Tagge sent me the link to Forums blog...look we're famous.
and yes, i satisfied my childhood dream. Thank you craiglist and a mama named Maggie who wanted nothing more that a little skrill from my pocket and her son's 12ft tramp (haha) out of her yard. Coffee and Front flips...best morning ever.

SNOW has appeared and all my snowstoked friends are out riding in it...rocks or not.
Hopefully i'll get the jump on my season this weekend....if not this week.

hello hullo again
soooooooo, i suppose you could say i'm alittle behind on the updates, schoolio began AUG 25th and since my world has been a turbulent affair of lectures, homework, shred club, and work. i must admit, though i've gotten really good at balancing this whole act, everytime i make it on time...to anything, i feel the need to kick dance my way in like the opening act of some 1960's variety show.
This all aside, I have sequestered some digital representation of the weekend just before Classes started. The weekend of August 22,23, and 24, is a very special weekend, at that time, myself, along with a varitas of family, friends and soon-to-be-friends run away north to the land of Trapper Creek where we spend our moments, away from reality, basking in the sun, the music, and the eclectic combination of excentric personalities and personas. TCBGII.

Each Day begins with the ritual ornamentation of one's body, from costumes, wigs, and body paint, to leaves, trees and mud. All is used to create outfits and costumes on a wide spectrum of intricacies and color.

the other weekend...
...my brother, sister, niece, and friends floated about 40 miles down the Little Susitna River. We had three canoes between the nine of us, and spent two nights and three days exploring, fishing, and living the life on the banks of The Little Sue....good thing i brought the mullet wig...

Crow Pass
A couple weekends ago Carly, Loulou and myself decided to hike the Crow Pass Trail (from Girdwood through the mountains to Eagle River). Two days and 24 miles on Jager, Tang and Splifs, we had some gnarly blisters, suntans, revived youth and energized spirits to show for it. Not a bear was sighted, but enough skat to build a poo bear had we really wanted too...heres a few thousand words in photostyle...
